Twitter开始仲裁域名twiter.com

巴斯光联最新消息，Twitter已经向WIPO仲裁与调解中心仲裁，要求获得对争议域名Twiter.com合法权益，根据whois的记录，Twiter.com于2004年首次登记的，twitter.com虽然注册于2000年，但twitter.com被收购用于微博却是在2009年。

Twiter.com跳转到一个网站试图获取非法个人信息。

Twitter拥有“twitter“标记的许多商标注册。因此，这是明显不过，该争议域名混淆相似其网站。

案件仍在等待WIPO仲裁与调解中心合规性检查。

Twitter has recently filed a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center,asserting legal rights over the disputed domain name Twiter.com . According to whois records,Twiter.com was first registered in 2004,about 2 years before Twitter.com was launched.However,there were more than one registrant over the years .Twiter.com resolved to a Twitter similar looking site.Currently the website tries to obtain personal information .Twitter owns many trademark registrations for the "twitter" mark. Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its website .The case is still waiting compliance checks with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center .
